This chapter focused on program planning. Program/event planning is something I am really interested in. I found the section about having a strategic plan really important.  A strategic planning model consists of facts, goals, audience, and a key message.I also enjoyed reading about speaking to a directed and specific audience. Reading the Sunkist example in the book is a great example of a program planning model. Their plan was to receive more pledges for their Take A Stand program. This chapter is important to every future public relations professional, because it teaches us the core theme of public relations. Planning events and programs for business to give them a good name in society.
